We are now looking for a Casual Delivery Driver to help us getting our doughnuts to all our customers in Wiltshire and surrounding areas, that can work on their own and use their own initiative.

This is a position is casual covering annual leave, sick leave and ad hoc deliveries throughout the year. This role would suit a person looking to top up their income, that doesn't mind early starts and can be flexible. Due to the nature of the role there may be short notice to work a shift. Initially you will go out on a shadow shift for 2/3 days and then as and when needed, leaving from our Swindon HQ.

We deliver 7 days a week, between the hours of 3 AM - 12 PM, however this might change according to business demand, so flexibility is required.

You will be required to use the Company fleet, so

a full clean UK drivers licence is a requirement, plus you need to be over 21

for Insurance purposes

JOB PURPOSE:

To collect, load and transport bakery products, delivering to coffee shops, markets, shops and businesses. Be the face of Pipp and Co and represent the company in a positive, professional and customer friendly manner.

ROLE REQUIREMENT

Clean Driver's license, and must be over 21

to drive our vans for insurance purposes

Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business, excellent customer service skills

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Integrity and able to organise routes and loading.

Committed, disciplined and hardworking, flexible

High standard of personal hygiene, physically fit etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collection and Transportation

To arrive on site in good time to allow for loading and transportation to the customers

Checking the integrity of the van before use, using the fault reporting procedure as required

Adhere to H&S and Food Safety regulations

Using the allocated routs and adhering to the logistical plan for the day

Transport the goods, driving with due care and attention, upholding the Highway Code and taking every care to make sure the goods are in good condition on arrival.

Represent Pipp and Co in a positive light at all times and liaise with customers in a professional manner
