Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions. Duties

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Process invoices, payments, and expense claims in a timely manner. Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information. Respond to internal and external financial inquiries as required. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Skills

Strong numerical proficiency and attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is advantageous. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration within teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A basic understanding of financial principles and practices is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
