Job Introduction
Join Sodexo as a Casual Food Service Assistant and be part of a friendly team delivering excellent customer service. In this role, you'll support the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages, helping to create a positive dining experience that meets both client expectations and Sodexo's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help prepare, present, and serve food to company standards
- Provide a friendly and efficient service to customers during service times
- Keep food service areas clean, safe, and hygienic at all times
- Assist with cleaning duties, including equipment, counters, tables, and service areas
- Support service by stocking counters, checking deliveries, and recording temperatures
- Follow training, wear the correct uniform, and report any issues or near misses to a manager
- Maintains high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance
- Has basic food hygiene knowledge
- Follows health and safety practices at all times
- Works well as part of a team and supports colleagues
- Understands and delivers excellent customer service
- Level 3 Supervising Food Safety qualification (desirable)
