Casual Front of House/Cafe Assistant - Bradley Football Development Centre

PG3 - 25,862.93, 12.40 per hour

Our cafe, The Fox in the Box, at Bradley Football Development Centre, is looking to recruit a casual member of staff to work as part of their team, as and when required.

Serving of alcohol is one of the responsibilities for the role, so age restrictions may be applied to the candidates to comply with the license condition (must be 18 years of age or older).

The role will include:

Regularly supporting the delivery of catering facilities at specific events both internal and external. This may include corporate meetings, children's parties, family functions, presentations, sports and leisure activities etc. Ensure a positive customer experience including front of house meet and greet, customer venue familiarisation and occasional waiter/waitressing services. There will a requirement to handle cash and be able to balance cash using a till system on a daily and weekly basis, and to complete relevant paperwork to ensure that all accounts balance on a daily/ weekly basis. Ensure full compliance with bar licencing conditions and white book procedures for food hygiene, at all times minimising waste.
Successful candidates will have:

Experience of catering, retail, front of house or bar environments. Front facing customer service experience. Cash handling and use of tills and card machine facilities knowledge. Will be required to work flexibly including evening, weekend and bank holiday requirements to meet the needs of the business which operates 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year.
