Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, you will support the culinary staff by ensuring a clean and efficient working environment. Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support chefs during service by preparing areas. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation. Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a busy kitchen is preferred but not essential. Basic culinary skills or knowledge of food preparation techniques would be advantageous. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining cleanliness and efficiency. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential. Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.
Pay: 9.00-12.21 per hour
