Casual Kitchen Porter

at The Halyard at Ropewalks.

The successful applicant for this role will have a positive and confident 'can do' attitude and be willing to learn. This exciting role provides an excellent opportunity to join the team and be part of an iconic-branded hotel in a busy competitive market place.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and portioning ingredients Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a safe and organized workspace Handle deliveries, unpacking and storing goods in designated areas Support the kitchen team with ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Requirements:

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not essential; we welcome applicants with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings

Where Will You Be Working?

As a dual property you will be working for The Halyard, the first Vignette Hotel in the UK, a vibrant luxury lifestyle hotel and The Holiday Inn Express Liverpool Central, which is a new hotel opening under the IHG Holiday Inn Brand. Managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, which is the operational arm of the Molo Hotel Group.
