Job Summary

To work between two "Good" Ofsted rated children's homes in Manchester.

Bright Path Care provides residential care for children based on a therapeutic approach. Our children may present emotional and social difficulties and some challenging behaviour at times. Working within a supportive therapeutic environment, you will be part of a team dedicated to caring for young people with compassion and a commitment to positive relationships.

Hourly rate to be discussed at Interview dependent on experience.

Sleep allowance in rate paid at 50 per night.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care. Implement and monitor care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote independence. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals involved in care. Maintain accurate records of support provided and progress made. Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to care. Drive to various locations as required for meetings or activities. Engage in recreational activities that promote social interaction and development.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and families. Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between locations. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for this role.
