Job Summary:

We are seeking a confident, caring, and experienced Residential Support Worker to join our team and support children and young people in a Children's Home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people. Assist with daily routines such as meals, personal care, and household tasks. Support educational engagement and liaise with schools where needed. Plan and engage in recreational and leisure activities. Promote positive behavior and act as a role model. Ensure the safety and well-being of young people at all times. Maintain clear and accurate records, including daily logs and care plans. Work collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements:

Fluent in spoken and written English. Eligible and willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate prior to employment. Confident, calm, and able to manage challenging situations. Willing and able to work 24-hour shifts (sleep-in shifts).

Preferred:

Enhanced DBS certificate. NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People). Experience in residential childcare or similar support setting. Full UK driving license.
