Casual Sales Assistant (Ice Cream and Drinks)


This position is based in Cheshire Oaks on a Zero hour per week Temporary contract


You will be joining a global, innovative leader of premium chocolate, operating in over 120 countries around the world. With its iconic market leading brands such as Lindor & Excellence, Lindt is one of the few companies which controls every step of its chocolate production "from bean to bar", manufactured across 12 wholly owned production sites in Europe and the USA.

Main Purpose of Job

Support the store management team towards the accomplishment of the retail plan Embody the Lindt brand with passion and be part of a team of Lindt brand ambassadors who are experts at delivering the Lindt Service proposition and exceeding customer expectations every day Actively contribute towards an environment of collaboration through sharing knowledge, information and teamwork to drive ideas to action.
Key Responsibilities of Roles


Customer Service Role

Work with team and Management to achieve set store targets. Be committed to working hours/working pattern. Provide excellent standard of customer service. When in work always have a can-do attitude Have good working relationships in store and be part of the team. Greet customers. Accurately processing transactions through the till Upsell and add on items as well as offering alternatives. Effectively manage queues. Support team with the Sampling of products and introducing customers to our Loyalty program Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedures, and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for all

Ice Cream and Drinks Responsibilities

Follow food safety and health safety requirements at all times. Be knowledgeable and confident about the products that are served. Produce and prepare all the products in line with brand standards.

Delivery / Stock / replenishment Role

Work with team and Management to achieve set store targets. Be committed to working hours/working pattern. When in work always have a can-do attitude Have good working relationships in store and be part of the team. Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedures and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for all. Processing deliveries efficiently Keep stockroom organized and rotated. Keeping shop floor fixtures full Clear communication to management regarding low levels / sell ots
VM / Gift Specialist Role

Work with team and Management to achieve set store targets. Be committed to working hours/working pattern. When in work always have a can-do attitude Reactive positively to change in pace. Have good working relationships in store and be part of the team. Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedures, and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for all Support team in ensuring store always looks presentable and shoppable. Build gifting to company guidelines. Monitor Gifting levels, best sellers and react appropriately.
Working Relationships


Positively build working relationships and exceed expectations with both internal and external contacts:

Internal - Retail field team, Retail HO team, HR External - Customers, Shopping Centre and Outlet Centre, retail network
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required

Proven experience within a retail organisation is preferable, as is a genuine love of all that a career in retail has to offer A highly motivated self-starter, with a drive for results Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships internally and externally. * An infectious can do attitude - ready to try new things and enthuse everyone you meet
