? Pay: 12.21 per hour
? Hours: Varied as it is a casual role

As a Casual Security Officer at Securitas, you'll do more than protect what's important-you'll empower people to thrive. Your presence will make others feel safe, welcome, and supported.
From patrolling key areas to overseeing gatehouse operations and serving as the trusted point of contact for clients, your role as a Casual Security Officer makes you an integral part of something much bigger. You will work as part of a team to ensure the highest level of security for our client, safeguarding both premises and personnel?

Responsibilities
You'll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conducting regular safety and security patrols.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches.
• Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption.
• Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.
• Manage keys and perform locking/unlocking duties.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and issue visitor passes.
• Handle lost property per site procedures.
• Book on/off shifts and make check calls per company policy.
• Complete paperwork and handovers efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management
• Deliver outstanding service and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain a smart appearance and answer calls courteously.

Qualifications
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone who sees a different world-someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you'll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Valid Driving Licence
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Strong communication skills in English-both written and spoken
• Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills and time management
• IT Literate
