We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing loss, and responding promptly to any incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential.

There are no guaranteed work/shifts. Any available shifts will be published through email/WhatsApp group, should you choose to accept, will be followed with further details.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular surveillance patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks. Monitor CCTV systems continuously to observe activity and respond appropriately to suspicious behaviour. Implement loss prevention strategies by overseeing access points and managing visitor check-ins. Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, including medical incidents, by providing first aid if necessary. Maintain detailed incident reports and log activities accurately during shifts. Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance among staff and visitors. Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods, ensuring a safe environment for all attendees.

Requirements

Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention methods is desirable. Valid first aid certification is an advantage. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively. Excellent observation skills with strong attention to detail. Good organisational skills and the ability to complete detailed reports accurately. Must be physically fit, able to stand for extended periods, and capable of patrolling large areas. A clean criminal record with the ability to pass background checks is required.
