Job Description

The successful postholder will be committed to providing excellent levels of customer service in all areas of operations whilst ensuring the highest practicable standards of service and safety. You will also be promoting secondary sales as standard.

LOCATION



The successful candidate should expect to be based at Colin Glen Leisure, 115 Black's Road, Belfast, BT10 0NF however you will be expected to work at our sister site, Colin Glen Trust, 163 Stewartstown Road, Belfast, BT17 0HW and any other location deemed necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



1.

Introduce and welcome all parties and individuals using the facilities in a polite and professional manner.

2.

Ensure that all customers, visitors and clients receive an excellent, enjoyable and safe visit to Colin Glen Leisure.

3.

To demonstrate all products and services to users and ensure that the relevant waivers are signed, reviewed and stored accordingly.

4.

Regularly review the online booking system to ensure that all bookings are facilitated and prepared for ensuring the smooth running of the facilities.

5.

Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.

6.

Plan, organise and manage your own workload efficiently between reception, pitches, golf course and the driving range.

7.

Maintain a neat and tidy work environment both to the complex interior and exterior.

8.

Interacting with customers keeping them informed of all the facilities on offer within Colin Glen Forest Park and Colin Glen Leisure.

9.

Ensure that customers see the potential in secondary sale when appropriate.

10.

After training you will assist in resolving any technical issues that may occur, e.g. trackman software, ball dispenser, the pitches, dome and golf course.

11.

Ensure that correct procedures for use are clearly explained to all customers, ensuring they are fully aware of all rules they must abide by.

12.

Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations with regard to the facilities, equipment, staff and the public at all times.

13.

Ensure accurate records are maintained of any incidents ensuring they are reported to management in a timely manner.

14.

You will have responsibility for secure keys and must ensure they are stored accordingly. Any loss must be reported immediately to your line manager.

15.

Liaise with management, staff and reception staff.

16.

Adhere to staff uniform, always presenting yourself in a neat and tidy manner whilst on duty.

17.

Reception duties as and when required.

18.

General housekeeping ensuring our premises and staff are presented to a high standard at all times.

19.

Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE



Candidates must be fully flexible and available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and bank holidays Team working skills Retail / leisure experience preferred Customer focussed Excellent communication skills To be able to demonstrate the ability to use own initiative Excellent organisational & planning skills Proficient in IT

DESIRABLE



Cash handling experience Full clean driving license

APPOINTMENT



The post is subject to a six month probation period which may be extended.

Salary meets minimum wage requirements. Variable hours of work. Appointees will work off a rota. Appointees will be required to work variable hours and

must be

available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays. The role will involve heavy lifting and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

NOTICE



One month's notice in writing from either the employee or the employer unless in exceptional circumstances where the decision will be taken by the Board of Directors.
