Edstart South Bradford is looking for an enthusiastic and committed coach to join our growing team! If you have a sporting background, a passion for working with children, and the flexibility to adapt to a busy coaching schedule, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About Us
We support Primary Schools in delivering high-quality PE and sports coaching sessions. Our team runs engaging activities across the school day - from breakfast clubs to after-school clubs - as well as fun holiday programmes. We use the PE curriculum as our framework to make sure children from Foundation Stage through to Year 6 develop their skills, confidence, and love for sport.
What You'll Do
Plan and deliver sports clubs for children aged 4-11 (breakfast, lunchtime, after school).
Provide structured, engaging sessions that inspire and motivate pupils.
Keep lesson plans, assessments, and evidence of learning up to date and submitted on time.
Monitor and maintain sports equipment, reporting any issues.
Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.
Keep registers for all sessions and update the HR team regularly.
Travel between Primary Schools in South Manchester to meet coaching commitments.
Adapt to changes in your workload quickly and professionally.
What We're Looking For
A background in sport, coaching, or PE (qualifications desirable but not essential for the right person).
Experience working with children is a bonus, but enthusiasm and commitment are key.
Someone flexible, reliable, and organised.
A coach who can engage children of all abilities and make sessions fun and safe.
Why Join Us
Be part of a supportive, passionate team.
Gain valuable experience in schools with opportunities for career progression.
Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.
The chance to inspire the next generation through sport!
