Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to deliver engaging and fun lunchtimes and after-school sports clubs at a primary school in Kew, near Richmond-upon-Thames.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in sports coaching, particularly with primary-aged children.

Responsibilities

:

Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lunchtime and after school sports sessions for Key Stage 1 and 2 students. Ensure all sessions are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for all participants. Manage the group effectively, ensuring all children are engaged and supported. Provide feedback and encouragement to children to help them develop their skills. Ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Lunchtime hours -

Monday - Friday, 12:25 - 1:25pm

After school hours -

Monday - Friday, 3:15pm - 4:15pm

Requirements

:

Experience in coaching sports to children, preferably in a primary school setting. Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., FA Level 1/2 for football, or equivalent for other sports). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young children. A passion for sport and physical activity. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
