SALARY: 12.60 - 13.30* per hour

About Elm House
Elm House specialises in supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. We offer person-centred support from a dedicated staff team trained to meet individual needs. Our focus is on fostering independence and helping each person achieve their own goals and aspirations.
Elm House provides a welcoming environment tailored to diverse needs, featuring five bedrooms, three ensuites, and thoughtfully designed living spaces for comfort and privacy. The people we support can socialise in the spacious lounge or find tranquility in the conservatory for quiet reflection.
Conveniently situated in the charming town of St Neots, Elm House offers the people we support easy access to a wealth of amenities and attractions. Just a 20 to 25-minute walk from the St Neots train station, individuals can explore nearby destinations such as Peterborough, Huntingdon, Sandy, and even London. The town's bus station, a 15-minute walk away, provides additional transportation options to Cambridge, Bedford, Huntingdon, and Milton Keynes. Within walking distance, individuals can immerse themselves in the vibrant town centre, which boasts an array of shops, supermarkets, and leisure facilities.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
