Cottage Care Services is a small, family orientated service that provides quality care to Adults in the Inverclyde community.

We are looking for an

Part Time Support Worker

who has genuine interest in supporting vulnerable adults to have a good quality of life to join our team. You will have:

A caring attitude and a willingness to make a difference A desire to see elderly and vulnerable people treated with respect and dignity Reliability, flexibility, hard work and honesty Good communication skills Good team work skills and will be Working on your own or as part of team
This role will include Light cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, medication, personal care, help to get dressed, washing and bathing, medical appointments, day centres, appointments and social activities, all within the Inverclyde area .

The ideal candidate

MUST

be a driver with a clean, current driving licence with access to their own vehicle.

Paid previous experience as a support worker is essential. We will require experience gained from paid work in the UK.

This post is for a Casual Support Worker and will be between the hours of 8am-10pm, hours and days varied.

The rate of pay is 12.60 per hour in line with the Scottish Living Wage.

Workplace pension in place and mileage paid at 30p per mile and paid uniform.

All applicants must provide 2 good references and have clear PVG. All successful applicants will be required to register with the SSSC within 3 months.
