Located near Lowestoft, we offer a variety of courses for both adults and children, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to learn and enjoy water activities.

Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Instructor to join our team at Oulton Broad Water Sports Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching and educational experiences in various water sports. Your passion for teaching and commitment to safety will play a vital role in helping participants develop their skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and informative instruction in water sports activities such as sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures. Assess the skill levels of participants and tailor instruction accordingly to meet their needs. Provide constructive feedback to help participants improve their techniques and confidence on the water. Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are safe and ready for use. Promote a positive learning environment that encourages participation and enjoyment.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, particularly in water sports is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with participants of all ages. A passion for outdoor activities and a commitment to promoting safety in water sports. Relevant certifications in coaching or first aid are advantageous but not mandatory.
