We are currently recruiting for a Casualty Claims Handler to join our established and experienced Claims Expenses team here at Intact on a hybrid basis.

You'll make an impact by:



As a Casualty Claims Handler, you will be responsible for appropriately and promptly investigating and advancing casualty claims to closure, achieving the business objectives and meet the defined customer service proposition.



You will ensure that customers, brokers, third parties and claimants are supported throughout the claims journey by utilising agreed upon claims processes, case laws, and defined strategies.



Your role will impart technical knowledge to resolve queries, reaching and conveying decisions whilst imparting that knowledge to others.

Your skills and experience:



Ideally, you will have experience in working with Casualty Claims, Employer Liability and Public Liability, from either an insurance or legal background. However, if you have experience in complex claims or liability disputes this is also advantageous.



You will be an excellent communicator, effectively building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be experienced in prioritising your workload whilst dealing with multiple priorities.
