Job Title: Category C Driver - Full-Time Position

Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a reliable and dedicated

Category C Driver

to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods using a heavy goods vehicle (HGV). This role requires strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.

Responsibilities:

Operate a Category C truck to deliver goods to assigned destinations, following all traffic laws and company procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered. Carry out daily vehicle checks (oil, tyre pressure, fuel levels, lights, etc.) and report any maintenance needs immediately. Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the vehicle at all times. Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, which may involve physical/manual handling. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any discrepancies or incidents. Provide professional and courteous service during interactions with customers.

Requirements:

Valid

Category C driving licence

. Valid Driver CPC card and digital tachograph card. Previous experience in a similar driving role is preferred. Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively. Strong sense of responsibility and attention to road safety. Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items when required.
