This one's for someone who really gets what procurement in chilled food means - juggling delivery schedules tighter than your lunch break, managing suppliers who sometimes forget what "on time" means, and negotiating prices that don't make your finance team break into hives....and you'll thrive on the buzz of it all!
What can I expect?

You'll spend your time doing the usual procurement stuff - negotiating with suppliers, reviewing contracts, chasing deliveries and keeping ERP systems updated. But you'll also get involved in NPD, working closely with the technical and production teams to bring new products to life.
What do I need?
You'll already have a couple of years' experience under your belt in food manufacturing or something similarly fast-moving. You know how to keep a supply chain running smoothly without compromising on quality or compliance. You'll need to be able to influence, challenge and build proper relationships. You'll need to know your way around the supply base, understand what makes retailers tick, and be comfortable adapting when plans change.
