35,000 - 45,000 for Category Executive
45,000 - 60,000 for Category Manager
We are assisting our award-winning, employee-owned client who supply ambient food products to major UK retailers and foodservice customers.
Role Summary:
You'll use data and market insights to help grow sales and support the sales and marketing teams with clear, engaging presentations. You'll also be analysing market trends and recommend ways to develop product categories.
Main Responsibilities:

• Create presentations using sales and market data

• Recommend ways to grow product categories

• Analyse market and competitor trends regularly

• Produce reports on market insights

• Work with retail data platforms (e.g. Kantar, NielsenIQ, Circana)

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, procurement, and other teams

• Support other marketing research as needed

What You Need:
Qualifications:

• Degree (2:1 or above), ideally in a data or numerical subject

Experience:

• 1+ years in data analytics or a similar role

• Food or FMCG industry experience preferred

• Experience with retail data platforms is a plus

Skills:

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Good at explaining data clearly

• Detail-focused and organised

• Analytical and able to work independently and as part of a team
