Job Overview
The Regional Category Management Business Partner plays a key role in delivering the category management strategy across the region. Working closely with the Regional Director of Category Management, this role ensures alignment between local market needs and European objectives, drives process standardisation, and supports the successful execution of strategic initiatives. Acting as a bridge between strategy and operations, the role collaborates extensively across functions to enable consistent, compliant, and high-impact category outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy Execution
Support the Regional Director of Category Management in implementing the regional category strategy across all categories
Process Standardisation & Reporting
Develop and implement standardised workflows, templates, and guidelines for category management activities across the region
Monitor, analyse, and report on key performance indicators to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
Provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights to support data-driven decision making
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a central point of contact between category teams, procurement, and category operations to translate local requirements into pan-European strategies
Coordinate cross-functional alignment forums with key stakeholders including Supply Chain Planning, Commercial, Channel Excellence, and Central Distribution Centres
Liaise with the Global Category Council to align global priorities with regional execution
Partner with Supply Chain Planning on SIOP processes, participate in regional sales conferences, and ensure category strategies align with sales objectives
Compliance Oversight
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure consistent adherence to local procedures across all categories
Budget & Forecasting
Support regional budget planning and forecasting for category management activities
Track expenditure against approved budgets and provide regular updates to the Regional Director
Skills and Experience
Experience in category management, commercial, procurement, or business partnering roles
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed, regional environment
Analytical, structured, and comfortable translating strategy into operational execution
Proactive, collaborative, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
