Job Description

Butler Rose is partnering with our large Facilities Management client in the search for a Category Manager to join their F&S procurement team. This is a temporary role until end of September, offering hybrid working and paying up to 600 per day PAYE.
This is a hands-on role focused on contract negotiations, supplier optimisation and delivering tangible savings. You'll work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to rationalise contracts, support integration activity and develop longer-term category strategies and tenders.

What you'll be doing:

Leading supplier negotiations and managing contracts
Reviewing and aligning supplier portfolios
Delivering measurable cost savings and value improvements
Supporting sourcing and tender projects
Partnering with stakeholders across the business

What we're looking for:

5+ years' procurement/category management experience
Strong commercial and negotiation skills
Able to work independently with minimal hand-holding
Fire & Security or Environmental Services experience a bonus
Integration or transformation experience beneficial
