Inspired by the vibe of SpudBros, we're all about fresh ingredients, big flavors, and creating a buzz at our fixed location. Join our small, dynamic team and help us spice up the street food scene!
The Role:
We're hiring two enthusiastic team members to run the Spud N Spice food truck. You'll be the heart of our operation, serving up delicious food, delighting customers, and keeping the truck running smoothly. This is a hands-on role perfect for food lovers who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality food, including loaded jacket potatoes, biryani, samosas, and other menu items.
Engage with customers, take orders, and provide top-notch service with a smile.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system.
Maintain a clean and hygienic food truck, adhering to all food safety and health regulations.
Assist with food prep, inventory management, and restocking supplies.
Contribute ideas for new menu items or specials to keep our offerings exciting.
Promote Spud N Spice through great customer interactions and occasional social media posts (e.g., showcasing our dishes on Instagram).
What We're Looking For:
Passion for food and customer service - experience in food trucks, catering, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling busy service periods.
Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of or enthusiasm for spicy cuisines (e.g., Indian-inspired dishes like biryani or samosas) is a bonus!
Ability to work as part of a small team and independently when needed.
Basic math skills for handling payments and stock.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and some evenings.
Food hygiene certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain one - we can support this).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 14,367.51-35,320.05 per year
Expected hours: 6 - 9 per week
