Grade 3 (23,028 - 23,414)

FTE and working pattern:

Full Time hours (35 hours, 1 FTE), rota based shift pattern

Purpose of Role:

The Catering Assistant will deliver service excellence to squads and facility users.

Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The Catering Assistant will provide excellent counter service The Catering Assistant will help support squad delivery The Catering Assistant will maintain Bistro facility cleaning at all times The Catering Assistant will work to upsell Bistro items

Essential


Demonstrable ability to speak and understand English in order to follow verbal and written instructions and deal with customer/student queries Well-developed interpersonal skills Demonstrable excellent customer service Demonstrable ability to work flexibly and accurately in a pressured environment Demonstrable professional and proactive approach Attention to detail Desirable


Experience of working within a similar catering and/or cleaning environment Experience of operating relevant catering and/or cleaning equipment
