Job Description

We're looking for a flexible and reliable Catering Assistant to support our kitchen team on a bank basis. You'll help prepare and serve meals, maintain kitchen hygiene, and ensure residents enjoy a safe and pleasant dining experience.

Key Duties:

Assist with food preparation and service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas Wash dishes and handle deliveries Follow food safety and hygiene standards Support residents during mealtimes with dignity and care

Requirements:

Experience in catering or kitchen work preferred Food hygiene knowledge desirable Friendly, team-focused, and adaptable

Devonshire House in Sudbury is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 68 residents.
