Salary: \xc2\xa39,519 to \xc2\xa39,692 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Working Pattern: Part time (20 hours per week)

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only (39 weeks)

Location: Woodlands Meed School, Chanctonbury Rd, Burgess Hill RH15 9EY

This is an exciting opportunity to join County Catering service who deliver catering services throughout West Sussex. We are proud to deliver school meals in special schools, and to support the contract management of primary school meals and Meals on Wheels. We support secondary schools, nurseries, social care and independent schools via our service level agreements. We deliver Food Safety training and bespoke training to our customers to maintain a high standard service.

The Opportunity

Your day-to-day role will be supporting the team based at Woodlands Meed School, this will range from:

• Being a valued part of our catering team based at a special school and provide healthy and freshly produced school meals.
• Assisting in in the preparation, cooking, service clearing and cleaning of the catering equipment and kitchen environment within the required standards, ensuring hygiene and safety measures are maintained.
• Provide written documents in relation to Health & Safety and Food Safety Legislation and business requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining the standards required to meet Food Safety and Health & Safety Legislation.
