We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our catering service runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a passion for hospitality and an genuine eagerness to provide exceptional customer services.
A key part of this role involves running breakfast shifts, including the preparation and service of a continental breakfast. The successful candidate should also be happy to assist with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean and organised environment during other shifts,

Key Duties
Prepare and present food items for meal service and refreshment breaks.
Set up and clean down the dining room, service stations, and refreshment areas.
Ensure all food safety and hygience standards are maintained throughout food handling and preparation.
Deliver excellent guest service by attending to the needs of the guests during service.
Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all catering and service areas including :
Washing dishes (manual and using dishwashing equipment)
Mopping floors and wiping down surfaces
Vacuuming service areas
Laying out and clearing service stations
Labelling and storing food correctly
Support various kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operations during service times.
Contribute to delivering ahigh-quality catering experience that exceeds clients expectations.
Skills & Experience
Strong background in hospitality, especially in guest services.
Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene best practices.
Experience in food preparation within catering or restaurant settings is desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a team while also being self-motivated and proactive.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in culinary or catering assistant role is desirable but not essential.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
