The Job:

22 hours a week

Monday to Thursday 10.00am -2.30pm, Friday 10.00am -2.00pm

Permanent - Term time only plus paid holiday

Hourly rate: 12.80

Start Date: 1 September 2025

Responsibilities

Liaising with school staff to understand meal order numbers and take up

Liaising with School, Apetito and other suppliers regarding stock management and ordering

Preparation and cooking meals (using a Rationale oven)

Delivering plated meals to our pupils

Clearing and cleaning following lunch service (including using a dishwasher)

Preparing breakfast options

Preparing sandwiches and packed dinner boxes

Emptying bins and ensuring the kitchen and service area are always clean and well-presented.

Adhering to all food safety and health regulations.

What you bring to the role:

A friendly personality with a genuine passion for delivery exceptional customer service

Highly reliable and consistently punctual

Good organisational and hygiene skills

Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering (desired)

Knowledge of health and safety good practice in the kitchen (desired)

Experience working in a similar position (desired)

Willingness to undertake induction training

Good literacy and numeracy skills

. Basic ICT skills
