Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing exceptional customer service experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working within a team within a fast past environment.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items. Operating till/cash and card transactions. Provide excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout all catering operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items. Assist the team by monitoring stock levels of supplies and reporting shortages.

Experience

Previous experience in catering or food preparation is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Strong communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to various tasks as needed. Knowledge of food safety practices is desirable.
This position is for weekend staff only - Hours of work are Saturday 8.30am/10.00am to 4pm & Sunday 8.30am/10.30am to 4pm.

These positions are based in birkenshaw so having your own transport or living local to the area would be more convenient.
