We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with the ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting with food preparation, serving, and ensuring that all catering events run smoothly.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food for catered events, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests and addressing their needs during events. Set up and break down catering equipment and supplies before and after events. Serve food in a professional manner, maintaining a high standard of presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and quality service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including proper food handling practices. Support dietary aides by accommodating special dietary requests from guests.

Experience

Previous experience in catering is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in food preparation, serving, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Background in the food industry, including restaurant or barista experience, is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. Prior experience as a dietary aide or in hospitality roles will be considered an asset.
