We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our catering services run smoothly. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail, as you will assist in food preparation, service, and maintaining high standards of food safety.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas. Support the culinary team in executing menu items efficiently. Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices at all times.
Skills
Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant environments is advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help others. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends as required.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
