Job Description

St Peter's School, Lympstone, is seeking a part-time Lunchtime Catering Assistant to work 20 hours a week during term time only; Monday to Friday, 09:45 to 13:45.

The position offers

full school holidays

and

no evening work

, with the advantage of

term-time school hours

and onsite parking. The successful candidate will work as part of a small and friendly team on the beautiful site of St Peter's Preparatory School in Lympstone.

The annual salary is 10,000 and will be paid in twelve equal monthly instalments. This is based on an hourly rate of 12.50 for 40 weeks, which includes statutory paid holiday entitlement.

Candidates are required to work under the direction of the Hospitality and Catering Manager to undertake a range of food preparation and service duties within the School, as well as ensuring a smooth lunchtime service on the pass.

Catering qualifications and/or relevant experience are desirable, but are not essential as relevant training can be provided for the right candidate. Applicants are required to have a good knowledge of both food hygiene and health and safety. This role involves certain physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods.
