Job Description

We are looking for a Front-of-House Catering Assistant & Barista to join our team of 7 at a busy workplace staff restaurant located in Cheadle. Your shifts would fall between 8am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, with overtime available for events.

You'll be serving customers, operating the till, making semi-automatic barista coffees, delivering hospitality, ensuring exceptional customer service, making the unit sparkle and much more.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to established recipes and guidelines. Ensure that all food safety regulations are adhered to during food preparation and service. Help set up and dismantle catering equipment and displays for hospitality and events. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas throughout service. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Support the catering team with any additional tasks as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a contract catering or food service environment is advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others as part of a team.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week
