To provide assistance to the cook to ensure the provision of safe, healthy, nutritional catering services to patients, visitors and staff.
Hours required 35hrs per week this post include weekends as per rota.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
To provide an efficient and effective service to patients/residents, understanding their needs and requirements.
To take responsibility for own work area, ensuring it is maintained in line with current Health & Safety legislation and all relevant policy.
To demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards patients/residents and other staff members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working.
To undertake and achieve industry recognised Food Hygiene training in order to maintain certification.
To deliver service in line with "best practice", ensuring compliance with relevant policy.
To provide assistance to senior staff should an incident occur, seeking guidance in line with relevant policy.
