Job Details

If you have an interest in the provision of school meals for children of all ages, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of Catering Assistants in schools and nurseries within the Glenrothes and surrounding area. We have several permanent vacancies to join our teams all working various hours per week Monday to Friday term time only.

Glenrothes:

• St Pauls RC Primary School - 2 posts x 15 hours per week, 38-week contract.
• St Pauls RC Primary School - 2 posts x 10 hours per week, 38-week contract.
• St Pauls RC Primary School - 1 posts x 20 hours per week, 38-week contract (This post is temporary for 1 year).
• Caskieberran Primary School - 1 post x 10 hours per week, 38-week contract.
• Carleton Primary School - 1 post x 10 hours per week, 38-week contract.

Leslie:

• Leslie Primary School - 1 post x 10 hours per week, 38-week contract.

You will earn a competitive salary of \xc2\xa320,460.86 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

• We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of \xc2\xa310.90 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.

This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether it\'s Breakfast Club, morning break or lunch you have served. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.

The Person

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
