CATERING ASSISTANT x 2

(1 permanent & 1 up to 1-year Fixed Term maternity cover)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Catering team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the team to maintain our high standards of service.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible Collecting and washing up pots and pans Cleaning food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery Unloading food and equipment deliveries Keeping store room organised Keeping work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised Food preparation including preparing some salads or desserts
The successful candidate will ideally have previous catering experience, preferably within an educational setting. A level 2 food safety qualification. or willing to undertake is also required.

We have the following hours available:

1 x 10 hours per week (lunch time cover), term time only.

1 x 12 hours per week (lunch time cover), term time only (up to 1-year Fixed term - Maternity cover)

(Monday to Friday (10hrs) - 11.30am to 1.30pm)

The salary range for this role is SFCA Support Staff pay points 3,

currently 23,807 full time equivalent

. As the position is part time, the actual salary will be:

10 hours per week =

5,338.32 per annum

(10/37*190/229 = 0.2242 FTE)

12 hours per week =

6,406.23 per annum

(12/37*190/229 = 0.2690 FTE)
