Catering Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our catering events run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong focus on guest services, food safety, and culinary excellence. As a Catering Assistant, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for residents Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations. Provide excellent guest services by being attentive to guests' needs and requests. Support the catering team during events by serving food and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area before, during, and after events. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery. Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Skills in culinary preparation or bartending are beneficial. Strong communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests are essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.

Pay: 12.21-12.25 per hour
