Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing meals in a professional kitchen environment, including use of a combi oven
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with line manager on new menu items
- Manage inventory as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after service
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen as a ook
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and other culinary skills
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Awareness of allergens, stock rotation and wastage minimisation
- Excellent understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills
