WR Hospitality Services is looking for a Catering Assistant / Caterer / Ward Host to start in Loughton, London.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in food service, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience. This role involves assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in line with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for catering events, ensuring quality and freshness. Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during events. Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to requests and inquiries. Assist with setting up and dismantling catering equipment before and after events. Support the team in various tasks as needed to ensure successful event execution.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Experience in food preparation and serving within a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Culinary experience is a plus, as well as any relevant qualifications in hospitality or catering services.
