We are seeking a motivated and friendly Catering Assistant to join the team at Maeslliedi Day Service. If you are passionate about providing excellent food service and ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, this could be the role for you.
Working Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 2pm, our role offers the perfect balance to fit around your family life or other commitments and is a great opportunity to contribute to a busy day service, making sure our service users have a positive dining experience.
What You'll Do:
Be responsible for accepting and checking that food arrives ready to be served and within appropriate temperature ranges.
Serve meals with a smile, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our service users taking into consideration individual food preparation needs and preferences.
Manage stock levels of food supplies and PPE for the Kitchen area.
Set up and clear away tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and inviting environment.
Maintain the kitchen with high standards of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
Be flexible to assist with any other general catering duties.
What We're Looking For:
A positive, friendly attitude and a willingness to learn.
Strong people skills to build rapport with staff and service users.
Basic understanding of allergens and food safety (training provided if needed).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to help with various catering activities.
