GENERAL INFORMATION:

St Mary's Church of England Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our busy school kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing healthy, delicious, and nutritious meals to students and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties, including:

? Assisting in the preparation of snacks and meals (hot and cold).

? Serving meals and refreshments to students and staff.

? Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas.

? Washing dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.

? Transporting food and serving trolleys.

? Supporting the Catering Manager with receiving and storing deliveries.

The ideal candidate will:

? A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service.

? Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

? Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

? The ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under supervision.

? Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment is preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: From 12.65 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
