Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a welcoming environment. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced cafe setting.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Help with catering events, setting up and breaking down service areas as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Experience as a barista would be an advantage but not essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. A genuine passion for hospitality and providing outstanding service to customers is crucial for success in this role.
