Catering Assistant

23,557 per annum (pro rata)


30 hours per week / 30 weeks ; 08:30-15:00 - This post is based at our Brackenhurst campus (term time only)

About the Role

We operate over 4 campuses, 7 days a week so a flexible approach to working hour, and location, is essential. We offer a range of modern food and beverage concepts, including barista style cafes, 'Deli' bars, 'Grab and Go' products alongside a variety of freshly prepared hot dishes. You'll be a friendly, approachable person who strives to deliver fantastic customer service. Ideally, you'll have experience of working in a fast paced, customer facing, retail environment but it's not essential. Duties include serving food, promoting sales and responding to customer queries. Other duties you will be involved with are operating the cash register, collecting stock, and some basic food preparation. Working with food it is important to maintain good hygiene standards, adhering to all health, safety and departmental standards and procedures.
