Shift Pattern:

Monday - Friday, 5 days/week on a rota basis/ shift rotation: 11am-6pm & 10am-3pm

Band & Pay:

Band 2 - 12.21 - 22.37 per hour

About the Role:



We are looking for motivated and reliable Catering Assistants to join our hospital catering teams. As a vital part of the patient care journey, you'll play an essential role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring high standards of hygiene and service throughout.

You'll be responsible for supporting the kitchen team with food preparation, ward meal service, and maintaining a clean and safe catering environment. Whether you're plating up meals or delivering food to wards, your role directly impacts patient experience and recovery.

This is a hands-on position that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering great service every day.

Responsibilities:



Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and handle payments. Drink and Food Preparation: Make coffee and other beverages, serve snacks. Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the shop clean, manage stock, and maintain equipment. General Duties: Follow safety regulations, report issues, and work well with the team.

Requirements:



- Experience in a similar role

- Barista experience an advantage, although training will be given.

- Food Safety L2 OR Food Hygiene Certificate (Mandatory)

- Food hygiene knowledge

- A good understanding of spoken and written English.

- Experience in a similar role (though full training given)
