We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing exceptional support to both the kitchen and front-of-house teams. Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and presentation for various catering events, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Support the catering team in setting up and dismantling event spaces, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or requests during events. Collaborate with staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow Help with inventory management, including tracking supplies and reporting shortages.

Skills

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant environments is advantageous. Strong culinary skills with a good understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Flexibility to work varied hours, weekends as needed.
