The Catering Assistant supports the preparation and service of high-quality, nutritious meals while delivering excellent customer service in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team to create a positive dining experience for students and staff.
Operate tills (training provided).
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Follow food hygiene and health & safety guidelines.
Ideal Candidate:
Friendly, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
Strong customer service skills.
Some catering experience preferred.
Basic understanding of health & safety.
Food Hygiene Level 2 certification preferred (training available if not held).
Benefits & Package:
13.85 per hour.
18 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no weekends or late nights).
38 weeks per year (term-time only).
