Average of 19.3 hours, worked over a three week period:


Week 1 Monday 08.30 - 13.30, Thursday 15.30 - 19.30, Friday 08.30 - 14.30 and Sunday 15.30 - 19.30


Week 2 Tuesday 08.30 - 13.30, Wednesday 08.30- 13.30, Thursday 08.30 - 13.30


Week 3 Monday 15.30 - 19.30, Tuesday 15.30 - 19.30, Wednesday 08.30 - 13.30, Thursday 08.30 - 13.30, Friday 08.30 - 14.30


We require a Catering Assistant to join our small Catering Team at our fabulous Jubilee House in Penrith.


Full training and uniform will be provided.

We're the UK fire family's charity, providing timely clinical care and wellbeing support to members of the UK's fire services and their families, helping them to adapt to physical, emotional and social challenges to adapt to conditions, injuries and illness and to transition to life after service.


The Role




This is a varied role and as a Catering Assistant you will undertake a wide range of duties, including activities that support the delivery of our food service. These will include waiting on, cleaning up, washing up and breakfast preparation.


You will undertake general kitchen cleaning duties, replenish kitchen stock and support the Chef with food service ensuring it is presented and delivered in a safe manner. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for providing excellent customer service whilst ensuring high levels of hygiene and cleanliness are adhered to.


This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Services Check.
