We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing exceptional support during events and food preparation. Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with food safety standards. Support the catering team during events, ensuring that all food and beverage stations are well-stocked and organised. Help set up and dismantle catering equipment, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals to members and visitors. Provide excellent customer service by assisting members and visitors with their needs during their visit. Assist with bartending duties as required, ensuring responsible service of alcohol.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in food preparation or catering is desirable but not essential. Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar setting is an advantage. Bartending experience would be beneficial but not mandatory.
