Part Time Catering Assistant

30 hours per week, term time only (34 weeks) plus 7 additional days for cleaning and inset

Salary 15,018.30 (uniform provided)

We are looking to appoint an assistant to join our busy catering team who provide meals for up to 320 children and staff. This position is for term time only, working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 3.00pm. Additional hours are available as overtime for small functions, match teas etc.

The successful candidate will be required to assist with general kitchen duties including preparation and serving of school meals and beverages, clearing away, cleaning and washing up duties. Experience of working in a similar environment and a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to establish a friendly and respectful rapport with children is important.
